What a Stage 1 remap changes

We recalibrate the parameters the manufacturer left conservative from the factory:

• Boost pressure and torque limiters
• Fuelling and ignition timing
• Throttle response and pedal feel
• Gearbox torque limits where applicable

What to expect

Most Stage 1 cars gain somewhere in the region of 30–60 hp with a much stronger mid-range, depending on the engine. Every job starts with a full diagnostic health check — if the car isn't healthy, we tell you before any software is written. Most cars are done within 1–2 hours, either through the OBD port or directly on the bench for newer locked ECUs.

Is Stage 1 right for you?

If your car is standard, well maintained and you want it noticeably livelier without changing any hardware, Stage 1 is the sweet spot. It's the service most of our customers across Bradford and Leeds book, and it's fully reversible — we always keep your original file.
